I can't view any of the videos.  I can hear the audio, I just can't see any of it. I just downloaded the latest version of Quicktime, if that helps.

You probably need a few assorted codecs. DivX and TSCC come to mind offhand, the others somebody else'll have to mention. :o

The old TSC had links at the bottom of the video page to downloads of the codecs

Are those back in the classic TSC skin? or are they gone for good? Either way, they need a comeback.

Yeah, they do. As soon as somebody tells me what all the codecs are and where to find them, I'll put it on.

TSCC: http://download2.techsmith.com/tscc/TSCC.exe
SprintGod uses the H264 codec for his videos but I've never found a simple download for just that.

Screw installing DivX and TSCC unless you want to encode with them. FFDShow can play back both of those and a crapload else too. There's no point in flooding your system with unnecessary codecs.

Me: Do you find it odd that CF's top two loves rank last in his Bouncy rankings? x_x
mike89: yes. yes i do.
mike89: but then i find CF odd.
Me: so do I.

A couple of alternatives:

VLC Media Player
Has built-in support for quite a lot of things.

MPlayer
Get the windows release and the essential codecs package. Unzip it wherever and put the codecs in the appropriate subfolder. To play a file, drag it onto the exe.

While we're at vids, when will ShadowWedge relink all of Ninty's vids?

Um...never

I think he said he's closing his site from public uploading (smart idea) after what happened with supawsonik's vids :o

I can always just email em to rolko or something

Shame on you though, for not watching/downloading them when you had the chance!

Um, there's one thing that Ninty has wrong with that:
THE SITE NO LONGER EXISTS.

As in, everything that was there and not backed up is gone forever. Which is unfortunate, as that means that I no longer have the infamous mike89 picture. >_>

I dw'd some of the SADX vids (namely Icecap Tails, LW Sonic, TP Sonic), and that's it.

Maybe I'll ask RPG for them, he downloads all the vids as soon as they're up on the site...
