Was gonna put Pokémon R/B Randomizer, but that didn't fit.

So!  This is a thing.  It is a hilarious and wonderful thing that has let me start with a normal/flying kangaskhan, catch a level 3 normal articuno, and gave me the first TM of... wait for it... pound.

You should all give this a spin.

(By the way that articuno saved my butt a few times with bug catchers that have machamp and kingler <_<)

flyby's League / Onto the finale?

And the six weeks are up!  So then, what shall our finalists be up to?

(By the way, do the latest threads here pop up on the front page?)

Wikkity! / Who would play a Fire Emblem TSC hack?
« on: November 22, 2007, 01:41:11 am »
I'm considering hacking Fire Emblem 8 (Sacred Stones), but I dunno if anyone would play it.  If you are interested, though, feel free to ask for a class (List here).  I plan to make a few changes here and there (like adding a halberdier if anyone takes the soldier class, giving the assassin a +15 critical, and making 1~2 range bows, to say the least.  Ditching the pegasus and falcoknights due to lack of female members, and changing summoner for necromancer, though I'll be lowering some of the necromancer's stats for balancing).  Also, should I keep support conversations?  I honestly don't know if I'd be able to replicate that.  Also, I'd like to have at least one of every basic class.  And no calling for trainees or monsters, and only the elite can get to be recruited as promoted units.  And if you see this, RPG, you're Hero by default.

Gaming and Grazing / The TSC Gym Challenge Fad thing! (Planning)
« on: May 28, 2007, 01:37:56 am »
Well, the reason this was brought up was because RPG was doing one, and I said maybe we should have one here.  People seemed to agree, so here's a post.

Well, I'm sure some of you have come across these fad ideas before, but if you haven't, here's the gist of it:

Eight people can be gym leaders, four E4 members, and one champion.  Any of them (except the champion) have to stick to a specific element type (and no type sharing), though they could have up to one pokemon not of that type (However, said pokemon must have a move of their trademark type).  The only other details I can think of is rounding to level 50 for these battles.

Oh, and that I call dark gym (when I get wifi), and RPG called dragon.

Of course, this is if people like the idea.  And feel free to give suggestions.

Gaming and Grazing / Plans for RPGmaker 2003
« on: February 02, 2007, 02:12:02 am »
Well, I've been thinking of redoing my ideas and making an RPGMaker game, like RPG was doing.  Who's with me?  I'll see what I can do with a story, and I'll try to fit as many volunteers in as possible...  It may not be the best, but it'll hopefully be good enough.

So who's interested?

There's a certain maneuver in Nitsuja's Route 99 1 video that I question.  It's basically a double jump with boost mode added into the end.  However, considering it probably wasn't intended to have that happen in the game, I bring this up to question.

The Nitsuja Trick (which I like to call it) is performed when Sonic is the partner.  While Sonic is being held, pause the game, making sure not to hold A when you do.  Let go of R, hold A, then unpause, and presto!  Pretty simple trick.

However, the method makes me question if it should be used, though I can't see how it can be abused to an extremity.

Gaming and Grazing / Funny video game moments.
« on: June 02, 2006, 02:09:06 am »
This has come to mind.  Chances are all of you have had at least one hilarious moment in a game.

One I remember is in Shadow the Hedgehog.  In cosmic fall, I missed the third key (The one during the long falling platform moment before a checkpoint.)  I missed the key.  So, in an act of bravery (read, foolishness), I jumped off and grabbed the key with a triumphant "In your face!".  Then I fell and died.

So feel free to mention any moments if you wish.

Beef / Problem with guide submission.
« on: April 12, 2006, 08:27:49 am »
I've tried to add a guide to Sonic Riders, but the content shows up as -.  Not only that, but apparently someone else had the same problem.  Some sort of Syntax error or something...

Quote
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'LIMIT 1' at line 1

If I were to blame anything, it'd be that I'm trying to submit this without any classifications, but the guide would apply to both Time Attack and Races...  That's where the conundrum lies...

Hiya Folks / New member/competitor here
« on: March 12, 2006, 02:01:52 am »
Hello there.  I've been playing sonic games since Sonic 2, and I've *very long rant here*.  Now I probably won't be MUCH of a competitor, but nontheless, I'm gonna put my records in.
