Haha thanks a lot! Definitely looking into making a sequel! I want to film one at a new location and really step up the effects a little more.

Yup and thanks! Unfortunately my ankles are seriously injured so I may not be able to do Parkour or Freerunning for a very long time, possibly forever. Glad you liked the song!

Hey guys! Haven't been here in what, a few years? Anyway, I still love Sonic, but I haven't been playing so much as listening to the music and doing stuff like this- Red Mountain Metal Remix.

It's pretty short but I think it turned out pretty nicely... what do you guys think? There are a few minor mistakes but I was more focused on getting something put together than being obsessive-compulsive this time haha. You might want to subscribe to my channel if you enjoy it!

I've been doing this sort of stuff for more than two years now. :) And the point is to train safely so you don't make mistakes haha. :P

Hey guys, how's it going? It's been forever since I was on here... I forgot my password for the longest time then remembered how painfully simple it was. What's going on? BTW check out how much I've progressed in Freerunning!

Wikkity! / Re: I have a dream.
« on: April 10, 2010, 05:46:38 am »
Ladies and gentlemen, I believe I just achieved my first lucid dream!

All right, so here's what happened (about an hour ago; I just woke up):

I was dreaming about a robbery. Nothing special, so when it got resolved, I didn't really care. Then, I noticed a clock in the dream. I thought: "Oh man, what time is it? Am I going to miss track practice in the morning?"

..."In the morning?"

At that point, I realized I was dreaming. The dream commenced to fade out and then a weird tingly sensation ran through my entire body (I DON'T CARE IF THIS IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN, IT DID TO ME!!! haha :D). Then, absently remembering this TSC forum topic, I tried to make the dream come back. The picture faded in (it was very weird... it seemed to have a 16:9 aspect ratio and my head was fullscreen. No joke. There were black bars at the top and bottom of my head.) Anyway, it was a series of random images and scenes flashing through my mind. I thought, "Okay, I'm dreaming, and I know I'm dreaming, does this mean I can control the dream?"

Indeed it did. Whatever I wanted to picture in this stream of random stuff, it appeared, and it would remain at center stage until I stopped thinking about it, and then the random stream of stuff would commence again.

Some things puzzled me, though. For example, I wanted to see one of my friends in my dream. They appeared promptly, but they were wearing glasses, where in reality they never had. Other slight oddities happened as well, for example, the color of clothes people were wearing was different than I thought it should be. Other inconsistencies like this.

Other than that, it was a very awesome experience with lucid dreaming, and I intend to try it again. Any thoughts, comments, ways to get an actual setting in my dream as opposed to random clips?

Okay, I'm kind of frustrated with my dreaming... or more accurately, the lack thereof. I only have a dream that I can remember about once every three weeks. Is there anything I can do to "make" myself dream? And this talk about lucid dreaming is interesting, could someone fill me in?

Glad you guys liked my video, and it's good to be back!

You can definitely expect more videos from me, and I'll post them in the forum as soon as I finish them. I've been training Parkour and Freerunning regularly, pretty much on a daily basis, which is how I've improved so much. Hey, if anyone wants tutorials for Parkour movements or Freerunning tricks, I'll help you out!

As for other things, I'm working on a song right now for a level my friend and I dreamed up called "Castle Run," and it's shaping up to be pretty epic! I use FL Studio 9 now, so it'll be of higher quality than my past MIDIs.

Nice job, I like the sound of that! What program are you using?

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been here in FOREVER even after "returning," I've been very busy with, well.... Freerunning. As you probably don't know, I'm very athletic in spite of my love for Sonic games, and lately that's been taking up a lot of my time. But, here's a little something to show for it:

OMG Azure's actually good at this?!?!?!

And for those of you who can't acknowledge the statement by clicking on the link:

And I'm still making music. Samples in a bit.

Nice to post here again! I feel... refreshed. What's going on in TSC?

Good to know that at least a few people missed me! And it's good to be back.

Edit: By the way, I just finished my first full-length song, with FL Studio. 3:27 of electronic goodness. I shall post it soon.

Hi.

As many of you know, I'm not new. Just haven't been here in a while. But I've got a lot of free time these days, so make it official: I am here to stay. Inscribest this upon your books of knowledge, for the day shall come when...

(Yup, I'm still weird.)

So, what's up? Did you miss me?

...

Oh yeah, and I've still been making music, but neglecting to post it in my many-times-revived topic "The Music Maker." Expect some epic sounds coming teh your way once I get off this darn dial-up.

That's all for now. I bid thee well.

P.S. If anyone can help me learn GML..? I've been wanting to make a fan game.

Ok guys, one final post (for nostalgia's sake).

I'll actually miss a lot of you (Especially those of you who posted in this topic as we can relate in the area of music). Yes, I'll even miss Minus, as sarcastic as he can be. :) hahaminus

Truth to tell, I'm quitting TSC for many more reasons then I've led you to believe...

THE MOST AWESOMEST REASON is because of someone named CHRISTINA!

SEE BELOW!!!

hahaha yes I am not a loser in real life.

HOWEVER,

Don't think that this is the end of my music!!! I've made some minor edits on the Triumph (attached), and http://azureblade.fileave.com has all my music, EVER, and will be updated all the time.

So goodbye, and keep, uh, musicing.

Hi guys,

I have attached what is more than likely the best music I've written so far, which is still a work in progress. Turns out my program CAN synthesize drums!

After this post, you'll likely never hear from me again. It's not because I'm banned, and I hold no grudges against any of you guys. Simply put, I'm moving on to bigger and better things than competition, so I'd say being banned is no longer of any consequence to me! (However, I wish my stats could've stayed up so people would recognize the overwhelming effort I put in to SA(DX) and other games.)

I am leaving mainly because of the reputation I've established here, which is to most of you a really weird kid who once beat the Sand Hill records, made a bit of music, played SA(DX), and finally got banned because of an account named "Ouchkibibbles". I often acted like a moron here, and some of the consequences of that make me dread this place!

I'm not entirely sure why, but the sarcastic attitudes of many of you TSCers got to me, and it makes this site seem like a separate and more shallow reality! Members seem superficial, and I'm beginning to resent them for that.

So, good bye. I think it's safe to say I'll miss less than half of you.

...and have fun playing Sonic (I don't play anymore, I've simply lost all love for the blue hedgehog).

Beef / This topic to be revived on July 11th.
« on: February 09, 2009, 03:21:31 pm »
Ok, if it's true that six months without mentioning a ban is a way to deserve relief from said ban, then let six months start now. On July 11th, I will revive this topic, requesting to be unbanned.

July 11th is the day before my birthday, so you mods might consider it a birthday present. :)

And we all know I have to get myself back on the charts to SHOW BERTIN WHO IS BOSS.

Quote from: ME
May I call your attention to this:

http://www.soniccenter.org/submit/stats

This is the stat submission page. This is where you enter your stats.

(I know, this may be a bit over your head. It confused me at first too.)

If you can submit stats in the stat submission, then that MUST BE where you submit your stats, right?

YES, THAT'S RIGHT!

So, if you submit your stats on that page because it is the page for stat submission and that is where you submit your stats, shouldn't that be where stats pending submission are submitted?

YES, THAT'S RIGHT!

Feeewsha. :/

Now that that's taken care of, I'd like to draw your attention to the fact that I am unable to submit stats using the statistical page of stat submission.

In fact, it is stupidity that first removed my ability to submit stats, much like the stupidity present in THIS VERY TOPIC!

So, if stupidity got the ability to submissiontastiacally submit stats using the statistical stat submission page taken away from me, then stupidity should get me out, right?

...

You and I both know that that isn't the case.

So, I'd like to, instead, I'd just like to present you with some statisti--, er, facts surrounding my ban.

1.) I have created two accounts during my stay here at TSC, which are Azure (formerly sonic99189) and Ouchkibibbles.
2.) This "Azure" was a large contributor to TSC, mostly in the area of competition in general. Azure competed for a reasonable length of time, and achieved certain levels of success in the charts, especially in SA(DX).
3a.) Azure was better than bertin at SA(DX).
3b.) Azure is better than bertin at SA(DX).
4.) Azure was completely legitimate in every aspect of competition. Unless, of course, liking SA is an indirect form of BS.
5.) Ouchkibibbles, Azure's alternate account, was completely and utterly illegitimate.
6.) Azure created Ouchkibibbles, and submitted a large quantity of fake SA stats with it, which weren't records, but not legitimate all the same.
7.) Azure confessed his guilt, which led to a ban of himself and Ouchkibibbles.
8.) Azure did time. (Approx. 3 months)
9.) Azure posted a topic in the forum with these statements, and awaited some consideration from teh mods.

It's unecessary (and perhaps a bit cliche) to sit, apologize, and beg for my privileges back, and fortunately, I'm not enough of an idiot to do that. All I will tell you is that I really like competing here at TSC, and, on the grounds that what I did was an idiotic mistake, I feel that perhaps you'd like to reinstate my privileges.

I'm not asking to be unbanned, but I SURE WOULDN'T MIND!

Oh, I almost forgot. If you have the time, Stefan, you ABSOLUTELY can modify my midis to your liking and post them here. In fact, I encourage you to do so at your earliest convenience.

(Especially since the program I use CANNOT SYNTHESIZE DRUMS! I have to establish a beat only with that "synth drum" voice, which sounds the same no matter what note you put into it.)

And that celtic castle is AWESOMEEEEE!

Stefan wins the awesome music award for the day, Cutiefox wins creativity, and I win...

...not much. D:

On second thought, why don't I just check and find out?

And Iceman I have a questions.

Is the "ferocity" mentioned in your sig icy as well? You know, cold, cruel, hatred? Or more of a blazing fury? Wouldn't that contradict your persona, though?

Additionally, are you trying to prove something, like that logic is of no consequence?

Hey, guys, I just made a new song (or at least the first 48 seconds of one), and I think it's pretty good. It's a bit of a deviation, I think, from my normal style, but the piano dominates once again.

Cutiefox: That graveyard/cemetary/scary_holy_crap theme is FREAKING AWESOME! So imaginitive, and awesome, and not short at all! If I had a game, I'd definitely use it.

Stefan: You have amazing musical talent. Your songs are so much more lively than mine! I especially love that old "melodowns". It's catchy. funaltsong and cloud are stellar as well.

Let's see, what else?

Oh yeah "Heroic" update. *attach*

WARNING: The new Heroic is experimental. Instead of an instant climactic point after the intro, I've decided to do some pretty melodies and stuff for the first thirty seconds or so, then followed by a fast-paced blast of awesome. I don't know if I'll keep it or change it or what. Feedback?
